I want to welcome everyone stopping by today from one of the best fantasy blogs on the web, Fake Teams. Feel free to take a look around–tell me what you like, what you don’t, and what you’d like to see. If you keep coming back, I’ll do my part and try to kick out some new content every day for ya.
Keep an eye on the Royals/Orioles where Zack Greinke, who I covered in a post a few days ago, is making his third start of the year. I’ll also be watching Ian Snell’s start to see if he can keep up his newfound control–two walks in two starts so far. He’s a fantasy ace if he can keep his walks below 3.0/9–a tall order for a young pitcher with his track record, but certainly looking possible so far.
It’s the Padres at Dodgers on Sunday Night Baseball tonight. Not the most exciting game for me fantasy-wise, but I’ll be watching Kevin Kouzmanoff to see if his HR last night is the beginning of him coming out of his early-season funk. If it’s still dumping rain tonight in Boston, I’ll probably watch.
Thanks for stopping by.
EDIT (2:55 PM): Looks like today’s Royals/Orioles and Pirates/Giants games have been postponed, along with most other games along the East Coast. Greinke and Snell are both going tomorrow against different teams. What’s with all the rainouts so far this year? I don’t remember a time when so many games have been postponed. Be glad if you’re not running in the Boston Marathon here tomorrow. If you are, I salute you.
